Parent Volunteers Supporting Marcellin

The Marcellin College Community Association supports Marcellin College Bulleen VIC Australia by fostering a strong parent volunteering presence in the school. Activities include Canteen, Second Hand Uniforms and Books, Fund Raising events such as the Mothers Day Breakfast, Fathers Day Breakfast and the Gala Ball.

Volunteers Mass and Luncheon

11.00am for Mass in the Chapel, 12 pm drink on the deck, 12.30pm seated for lunch

There will also be the Annual Foundation Raffle tickets on sale and drawn on the day.

Business Network Event - Effective Networking

We are delighted to welcome Elaine Doyle as the facilitator. Elaine is a specialist in strategic communication planning and execution and public speaking coaching.

Facilitator: Elaine Doyle

In this hands-on workshop session, Elaine is going to introduce us to the fundamentals of using effective communication to build stronger networks. This is a great tool, not only for business, but for your connections outside of the workplace as well.


  • Date: Tuesday 11 September
  • Time: 6:30pm for drinks and to settle in. 7:00pm session commences

MCCA Fathers Day Breakfast

The MCCA Fathers Day Breakfast is one of the highlights of the Marcellin social calendar. It is a wonderful opportunity for boys to spend a relaxed morning with their Dad over a delicious breakfast.

This year, we are delighted to have Robbie Kearns as our special guest speaker. Robbie is a current parent and former professional Rugby League footballer for Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Western Reds, and Melbourne Storm. He was also a representative forward for NSW in the State of Origin.

Time:Wednesday, 29 August 7:00am - 9:00am

Senior Production - Blood Brothers

Blood Brothers, by the author of Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine, is a haunting rags to riches tragedy of our times. A woman with numerous children to support surrenders one of her new born twins to the childless woman she cleans for. The boys grow up streets apart, never learning the truth but becoming firm friends and falling in love with the same girl. One prospers while the other falls on hard times. A narrator warns that a price has to be paid.

2018 Mothers Day Breakfast Change to Booking Time

MCCA Mothers Day Breakfast - Important update

Could you please note this important update to the booking process for the Mother’s Day Breakfast.

Bookings will now open on Thursday 19 April at 10.00pm

We have been advised there are several parent-events at Marcellin on the booking night and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to get online, we have pushed the booking time back to 10pm.

Details of Breakfast:

  • Date: Wednesday 9 May
  • Time: 7.00am to 9.00am
  • Cost: $20 per person. Both Mums and boys needs to purchase a ticket.
  • Bookings: Via TryBooking
  • Limits: There is a MAXIMUM of FOUR tickets per family.
  • You are NOT PERMITTED to book for other families.


Please remember to put this date and time in your calendar so that you have every opportunity to purchase tickets.

7.1 Family Catch Up

Before term 2 slips away, (just as term 1 did so quickly), let’s catch up and meet the families and boys from 7.1.


  • When: Sunday 6 May
  • Where: Hays Paddock, 25–27 Longstaff Street, Kew East. We will set up near the oval on the other side of the kids playground
  • Time: 4pm onwards
  • BYO: Nibbles and drinks, picnic rug & folding chairs (just in case we are unable to secure a table), balls, bats, etc.

7.3 Core Group Event

The 7.1 families have asked us to join them for their core group family outing this weekend.

This will be a great chance for us all to catch up for a relaxed afternoon while we still have lovely autumn weather.


  • When: Sunday 6 May

Please come and join us for a free session at the amazing LinkedIn offices at Southbank.
You will hear from Vanessa Rudnick who will be flying down from Sydney especially to talk about her area of expertise which is boosting an individual or companies sales/leads through Sales Navigator. 
No need to be a LinkedIn member and no hard sell.

There will be a light breakfast, real coffee and networking to begin with and the official session will begin at 7.30am.
