Parent Volunteers Supporting Marcellin

The Marcellin College Community Association supports Marcellin College Bulleen VIC Australia by fostering a strong parent volunteering presence in the school. Activities include Canteen, Second Hand Uniforms and Books, Fund Raising events such as the Mothers Day Breakfast, Fathers Day Breakfast and the Gala Ball.

2019 Marcellin/OLMC Fun Run

Join us for our Marcellin|OLMC Colour Fun Run on Sunday 24th March 2019.

Run, jog or walk with us around the grounds of Marcellin College and have a fun time while you’re at it! All levels of fitness are accommodated.

Entrants can  participate in one of more of our events and stalls will be available on the day to purchase food & drinks.

So sign up with your friends and family and don’t forget to wear a white T-shirt!

Group discounts available

8.00am for 6km race, 9.00am for 3 km race, 9.00am for 1.5km race

Cost: $25/ adults, $20/students, $60/families 


What to bring on the day:

  • filled water bottle (there will be water stations available but we are hoping to minimise waste)

  • If entering one of the Colour runs wear on old white T-Shirt

  • Bring an old towel to sit on in car on way home

Available on 3 levels within the school BUT you will need to enter through the back gates from Sandra St OR please park in Manningham grounds.  There will be parking attendants so please follow their instructions.

Food and Drink
There will be plenty of food and drinks available on the day (egg and bacon rolls, sausage sizzle, coffee and cake and snow cones) so bring along the whole family and enjoy the community atmosphere.

Marcellin Foundation Alumni Series: Richard Olive

Our first presentation in this series on 12 March and will feature eminent Old Collegian, Richard Olive (1959). Richard will share his story of his career as a Civil Engineer which has taken him around the world in the design of hydro projects and dam construction.

11.00am for Mass in the Chapel, 12 pm drink on the deck, 12.30pm seated for lunch

Business Network Event - Effective Networking

We are delighted to welcome Elaine Doyle as the facilitator. Elaine is a specialist in strategic communication planning and execution and public speaking coaching.

In this hands-on workshop session, Elaine is going to introduce us to the fundamentals of using effective communication to build stronger networks. This is a great tool, not only for business, but for your connections outside of the workplace as well.

MCCA Fathers Day Breakfast

The MCCA Fathers Day Breakfast is one of the highlights of the Marcellin social calendar. It is a wonderful opportunity for boys to spend a relaxed morning with their Dad over a delicious breakfast.

This year, we are delighted to have Robbie Kearns as our special guest speaker. Robbie is a current parent and former professional Rugby League footballer for Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Western Reds, and Melbourne Storm. He was also a representative forward for NSW in the State of Origin.

Time:Wednesday, 29 August 7:00am - 9:00am

Senior Production - Blood Brothers

Blood Brothers, by the author of Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine, is a haunting rags to riches tragedy of our times. A woman with numerous children to support surrenders one of her new born twins to the childless woman she cleans for. The boys grow up streets apart, never learning the truth but becoming firm friends and falling in love with the same girl. One prospers while the other falls on hard times. A narrator warns that a price has to be paid.

2018 Mothers Day Breakfast Change to Booking Time

MCCA Mothers Day Breakfast - Important update

Could you please note this important update to the booking process for the Mother’s Day Breakfast.

Bookings will now open on Thursday 19 April at 10.00pm

We have been advised there are several parent-events at Marcellin on the booking night and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to get online, we have pushed the booking time back to 10pm.

Details of Breakfast:

  • Date: Wednesday 9 May
  • Time: 7.00am to 9.00am
  • Cost: $20 per person. Both Mums and boys needs to purchase a ticket.
  • Bookings: Via TryBooking
  • Limits: There is a MAXIMUM of FOUR tickets per family.
  • You are NOT PERMITTED to book for other families.


Please remember to put this date and time in your calendar so that you have every opportunity to purchase tickets.
